15. How to do your Sight Translation

In the next 20 lecture videos, you will be given a chance to do Sight Translation first before any real Audio File practice will be provided in Part 2.

Sight Translation is not exactly the same as Audio File practice, but it is the first step to slowly get you to be used to the Audio File in Part 2.

* You will see each sentence of about 20-35 words pop up in each screen.

* After each complete sentence appears, please give your interpretation in a calm manner in about 1-2 second.

* For best result, close your eyes and try to memorise all important units of meaning

* You can record your interpreting and try to listen to the recording when you finish. This will also help you recognise some weaknesses you may need to improve. Send this recording to your trainer for feedback in Part 2.
